High-volume deep drawn stamping is a specialty at Demsey Manufacturing Co., Inc. Demsey has developed a reputation for creating some of the highest quality deep drawn stamping products in the industry while working closely with their customers.
The item shown here, a “Pex Crimp Ring”, was produced for the plumbing industry, and required a collaborative effort in design. The crimp rings, which are intended for use in a Pex tubing application, incorporated some new features that would allow easier installation in the field.
The problem was that there were certain aspects of the design that because of existing patents could not be done in a particular manner. Demsey was able to help the customer navigate these restrictions successfully while improving functionality of the product at a competitive price point.
